This site has been set up with the view to share Sri Lankan cuisine in a professional environment to a new generation of Foodies who want to discover the unique character of Sri Lankan cuisine. In the months to come it is planned that for a series of Professional cooking demonstrations/mastercooking classes to be run in Auckland for the General public.

- Qualified Chef with 30 years work experience in New Zealand & overseas. Devoted Husband & Father to 4 children a son in his twenties & Triplet Daughters aged 12 years. Originally from Sri Lanka, Qualified as a Chef in Sri Lanka & The Culinary Institute of America. Worked as Executive Chef for several 5 Star class Hotels in Sri Lanka,Europe , Australia & New Zealand. I have lived in New Zealand for the last 24 years. Sri Lankan Cuisine is still my favourite cuisine & I enjoy cooking & teaching a new generation of Students to cook this cuisine . I Specialised in French cuisine & with my creative flair I have excelled in the field of Butter carving, Ice Carving & Vegetable Carving. I now run & operate Fresco Foods Ltd in Auckland. We manufacture a range of products from Occasion cakes to wholesale cakes for the catering Industry & also produce a range of Artisan Chocolates.
